Each year, six chapters are recognized as Chapter of the Year for their outstanding accomplishments during the year.  There is an in-state category, as well as an out-of-state category, with three classifications within each category based on the size of the chapter area.  The awards are based on activity, variety, community involvement, scholarship support andmembership, among other things.  Additionally, there is a Website of the Year award for the most outstanding chapter website and a Most Improved Chapter award, given to the chapter that has shown the most progress over the year.  In order to be considered for a chapter award, a chapter must submit the annual Chapter Summary report to the Chapter Development Office.
